If you’ve ever wondered who really keeps things running smoothly here at Busy Bee 3D, allow us to introduce you to Mav — our resident supervisor, quality-control inspector, and professional workplace distraction. 🐶
As you can see, Mav takes his responsibilities very seriously.
Whether we’re organizing shelves of filament, preparing customer orders, testing a new design, or spending entirely too long staring at Bambu Studio wondering why something won’t cooperate, there’s a pretty good chance Mav is somewhere nearby making sure his pawrents stay on task.
And by “stay on task,” we mean stopping periodically to provide treats and attention, of course.
The Busy Bee 3D Office Assistant
Running a small business means our workspace can go from perfectly organized to complete chaos surprisingly fast.
Between rolls of filament, new product ideas, customer orders, prototypes, packaging supplies, and prints waiting for their finishing touches, there is always something happening around here.
Mav has decided his role is to supervise all of it.
His current duties include:
- Monitoring the filament inventory
- Inspecting packages before they leave the office
- Supervising product photography
- Providing moral support during long print days
- Reminding us when we’ve been working too long
- Accepting payment exclusively in treats
We’re still waiting on his official performance review, but we have a feeling he’ll give himself a 10/10.
More Than Just a 3D Printing Business
One of our favorite parts about owning Busy Bee 3D is getting to share a little bit of our life behind the products.
Yes, you’ll usually see the finished soap holders, keychains, coasters, seasonal decorations, custom designs, and all of the other things coming off our printers — but behind every item is a very real small business, a very real home, a whole lot of filament…and apparently one very opinionated dog.
Busy Bee 3D was built around creativity, having fun, and making things that bring a little happiness into someone’s day. Having Mav beside us while we work is just another part of what makes this little business feel like ours.
